Join us for an educator sleep away camp adventure and retreat. Learn about how to cultivate a sense of curiosity and wonder in your educational setting.  Make loose parts materials, engage in materials explorations, explore and build your own curiosity! Along with relaxing in a rustic camp retreat setting. Your registration includes; your meals, accommodations, some materials fees, and contact hours certificate. The camp is also BYOB, because we know as adults you will be responsible. Speaking of accommodations, just like in summer camp these are rustic shared cabins.  You will be sharing a cabin with 6-9 other cabin mates. The bathroom facilities are in a shared bathhouse. You will need to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towels, and toiletries (if you are flying in please let us know and we can arrange for you to borrow these items). For Summer Camp you maybe able to choose (and pay extra) for cabin with air conditioning. 

 

There is a lodge where we will have all our meals and some of the workshops.

 

The Facilities; Camp Tuckabatchee is a historic Central Illinois summer camp. This is the real deal. They have been doing independent summer camp for more than 90 years. You can check out the camp on their website. http://www.camptuckabatchee.org/
